Serpent Mound

From an early age I have always been inspired by the serpent. They are some of the most ancient creatures starting in the Early Cretaceous period 128.5 million years ago.

They are deeply embedded in the human mind bearing numerous different symbolic meanings often representing duality.

Most ancient cultures throughout the world worshipped the serpent.

Pre-Christian Europe worshipped the serpent to such an extent that druids were known as Adders. The medical symbol to this day is the caduceus two intertwined snakes the symbol of Hermes the bringer of medicine and Alchemy the Greek evolution of the scribe god Thoth.
